Manchester University students in EDUC 340: Literacy Block organized all aspects of two sessions called Developing Climate Change Activists. They designed interactive stations - provided participants with important information - and empowered them with actions we can all take. Students from EDUC 343 (Disciplinary Literacy) developed and led a Manchester University Discussion Day session that used the idea of disciplinary literacy as a lens to understanding big issues like climate change (and how we work through problem finding and toward problem solving).
