The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has recognize two All-Academic Athletes at Manchester University.

Erica Ortiz, a first-generation college student at Manchester has been awarded a Realizing the Dream scholarship from the Independent Colleges of Indiana. She is a sophomore from Servia, Indiana, majoring in nursing.

Manchester University's 24th annual Student Research Symposium on April 28 will feature keynote speaker senior Madison Brown and her presentation, "Toward the Synthesis of Potential Antiviral Carbocyclic Nucleosides." Brown is senior biology-chemistry major from Economy, Ind. Her research, alongside Kyle Watson, assistant professor of chemistry, is focused on the beginning steps of creating a small library of potential antiviral drugs that could be used to treat the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).

Valeria Jimenez, a first-generation student at Manchester has been awarded a "Realizing the Dream" scholarship from the Independent Colleges of Indiana. She is a sophomore from Akron, Indiana, majoring in psychology and psychology & religious culture.

Colleen Caylor is the first recipient of Manchester University's new full-ride Honors Scholarship. It covers tuition, fees, room and board for up to four years. The Norwell graduate said she was looking for a college that would help her find her path and pursue her passions on her own terms.

The Manchester University women's swimming and diving team earned Scholar All-America honors from the Collegiate Swimming Coaches Association of America for the fall 2021 semester. They posted a team GPA of 3.34 to earn the honor.

Enrique Salazar, Thomas Richardson and both the Manchester men's and women's track teams picked up academic accolades from the USTFCCCA.

Heather Binion never gives up, and now this first-generation college student is being honored as Manchester University's Realizing the Dream recipient for 2020-2021. The award is made possible by Lilly Endowment Inc. and awarded by Independent Colleges of Indiana.
