MU nursing cohort earns 100% NCLEX pass rate

North Manchester, IN (10/13/2025) — Graduates from Manchester University's Dec. 2023 Traditional Bachelor of Science in Nursing (TBSN) cohort have reported a 100% pass rate on the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX).

The NCLEX is the test all nursing graduates must take to be able to practice as a registered nurse, ensuring they have met the standards to work safely in a health care setting. The national average is 80%.

All nine students in Manchester's first TBSN class, who graduated in May, passed the exam on their first attempt.

"We are incredibly proud of this cohort for their tireless work and commitment to patient care," said Dustin Diller, assistant dean of nursing. "Achieving a 100% pass rate is a testament not only to their dedication, but also to the strength of our curriculum, the support of our faculty, and the quality of clinical experiences our students receive. This milestone sets a strong foundation for the future of nursing education at Manchester."

Manchester University offers both a traditional four-year bachelor's degree program and a 16-month Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program. The first ABSN cohort graduated in Dec. 2022 and also had a 100% NCLEX pass rate.
