Manchester University welcomes largest incoming class in four years

North Manchester, IN (08/27/2024) — Manchester University's incoming enrollment for the 2024-2025 academic year is up 17% from last year, making this the University's largest incoming class since 2020.

"We are thrilled to see a significant rise in our undergraduate enrollment this year," said President Stacy H. Young. "This increase is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our faculty, staff and administration, who are committed to ensuring that every Manchester student has the resources and support they need to thrive here."

Director of Admissions Brandi Chauncey added, "Among this new class, 18 states are represented, 62% of students are planning to participate in athletics, and some of the most popular majors include business management, nursing and digital media arts. We are so happy to welcome everyone to campus as they begin their Manchester journey."

Over the last few years, Manchester has introduced several new academic programs, including nursing, esports management and a Master of Business Administration, which just welcomed an inaugural cohort of 40 students. The University has also strengthened its experiential learning opportunities, encouraging students to earn while they learn and lessening the burden of student loans.

A Manchester education not only provides graduates with a degree, but also a resume, preparing them for the next phase of their careers. 95% of MU graduates are employed, in graduate school, or in voluntary services within six months of graduation.
