Manchester University Focus on Faith Week is Nov. 13-17

North Manchester, IN (11/09/2023) — Manchester University Focus on Faith Week begins Monday, Nov. 13.

Focus on Faith Week is a collaboration between peace studies and religious life to celebrate and educate the Manchester community on religious diversity, and will include several events that are open to the public.

On Monday, Nov. 13 there will be a Diwali celebration at 12 p.m. in Petersime Chapel.

On Tuesday, Nov. 14 there will be a service project in Manchester's Prayer Labyrinth. Volunteers will meet in Petersime Chapel at 4 p.m.

On Wednesday, Nov. 15 there will be a Chapel Check-In at 12 p.m. and Love Feast service at 8 p.m., both in Petersime Chapel.

On Thursday, Nov. 16 there will be a volunteering opportunity with Blessings in a Backpack at 3:30 p.m. at Manchester Elementary School. That evening, there will be a Sacred Art Coffee House at 7 p.m. in Petersime Chapel.

Morning meditation is every day from 8 to 8:30 a.m. in the Chapel, followed by coffee and tea.
