Manchester University appoints Julie Knuth chief of staff
North Manchester, IN (07/14/2026) — Manchester University has appointed Julie Knuth chief of staff to the president. She previously held the role of director of presidential and board operations.
Knuth, a 2001 Manchester graduate, holds a bachelor's degree in nonprofit business management. She has served the University for 15 years through three different presidential administrations.
In this expanded role, Knuth will oversee institutional research and all grant work for the University. She will continue to serve as assistant secretary and liaison to the Board of Trustees and support the Executive and Governance Trusteeship Committees. She remains the Title IX appeals administrator.
Knuth is Manchester's lead contact for the Manchester Together initiatives, which include College Row housing, campus facility upgrades, Eel River Commons, and the Manchester Mile. These projects are funded by Lilly Endowment Inc.'s College and Community Collaboration grant.
