First-year Manchester University students Kora Beasley and Ruby Rusk were selected as participants in the Next Gen Leadership Institute with Young Leaders of Northeast Indiana.

Manchester University seniors Christopher Carroll, Omar Gadzhiev and Bradley Miley will talk about Andrew Cordier, the United Nations and Manchester's historical relationship with the institution at a presentation at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 4 in Cordier Auditorium on the North Manchester campus. Cordier, who graduated from Manchester in 1922, was a key player in drafting the UN founding charter and a stalwart advocate for peace.

A panel of Manchester alumni and current students spoke about their experiences at Manchester University on March 7. "Looking at Yesterday, Working Toward Tomorrow: Race at MU" allowed for frank comments and discussion. Related events were held on the North Manchester campus. Ani King, Laura Mayorga Mejia and Estefania Mesta were the student panelists. Alumni Farida Adam '08, Myron Chenault '71 and Chris Francois '20 joined them on the stage of Cordier Auditorium.

Shayla Welch is head Spartan Ambassador in the Office of Admissions. Her profile appears in My Manchester Story. "Just like many other Manchester students, as soon as I stepped on campus, it felt like home. Something about the small campus, beautiful trees, lively squirrels, and friendly faces told me immediately that I was right where I needed to be," she said in her profile.

Logan Hochstetler was named as Manchester University's Student Senate Historian for the 2021-22 academic year.

When Manchester University student Hannah Hilliker learned that Manchester plans to raze the old Administration Building, she got busy trying to save a beehive on the west side of the century-old structure. Hilliker wrote to the MU maintenance staff and President Dave McFadden asking if the hive could be relocated. She even offered to raise money to help cover the costs.
