Manchester VP elected president of higher ed business officers association
Fort Wayne, IN (11/10/2022) — Clair Knapp has been elected president of the Central Association of College and University Business Officers (CACUBO) Board of Directors.
Knapp is vice president of finance and administration, chief business officer and treasurer at Manchester University in northeast Indiana.
The association provides professional development opportunities and leadership training to business and finance professionals at academic institutions. As a nonprofit, volunteer-led organization, CACUBO members are committed to enhancing financial management and business administration at their institutions and sharing best practices, innovative ideas and lessons learned.
The Fort Wayne resident also serves on the National Association of College and University Business Officers Board of Directors. He is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana CPA Society.
With more than 30 years of business and higher education experience, Knapp was the chief financial officer at Ohio Dominican University in Columbus, Ohio, for two years and Bethel College in Mishawaka, Indiana, for six years.
