Fort Wayne residents join Manchester University Board of Trustees

All are alumni

FORT WAYNE, Indiana (04/29/2021) — Two Fort Wayne residents are among those joining the Manchester University Board of Trustees in 2021. All are alumni.

Dr. Joshua Kline is new to the board. He is a family physician and serves as the chief medical officer for Parkview Physicians Group in Fort Wayne. He earned a degree in biology-chemistry from Manchester in 1998 and graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine in 2003.

Kline serves on the boards of Beacon Heights Church of the Brethren and Parkview Health. The Fort Wayne resident participates in medical mission service.

David Haist has rejoined the board after many years of service as at-large and honorary trustees.

Haist is retired as executive vice president and chief operating officer of Do It Best Corp. The 1973 Manchester graduate serves as chair of the Parkview Health Board of Directors. The Fort Wayne resident is a board member or advisor with several companies and civic organizations.

Haist and his spouse, Sandy, also a Manchester graduate, served as co-chairs of Manchester's Students First! comprehensive fundraising campaign, which ended over goal in 2014.
